Terms of Use
Effective 2026-06-19 · Version 2026-06-19
These Terms are a contract between you and 1001511837 Ontario Inc. (“Nursio”). By using Nursio you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
Educational purpose — not medical advice
Nursio is an educational tool for nurses and nursing students. Its content is curated and reviewed by humans; an adaptive reinforcement portion is generated by AI and may contain errors. None of the content is medical advice, a substitute for professional clinical judgment, institutional protocols, or a licensed provider’s orders, and it must never be used to make real patient-care decisions. Always verify against current evidence and your facility’s policies. This paragraph is the medical disclaimer for the service; it is also shown in the app.
Subscriptions, trials and cancellation
Some features require an auto-renewing subscription, purchased through the Apple App Store or Google Play. Billing, renewal, price and any refunds are handled by the store, not by Nursio. A subscription automatically renews for the same period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Cancel anytime in your store account (Apple ID / Google Play subscriptions); deleting the app does not cancel a subscription. Where offered, a free trial is one-time per store account and converts to a paid subscription unless cancelled before it ends. Prices are shown in your local currency by the store and may change with notice as required by law. On Apple, the Apple Standard EULA (Schedule 2) also applies.
Consumer rights
- European Union / EEA: for digital content/services you normally have a 14-day right of withdrawal. By starting to use a paid subscription immediately, you request immediate performance and acknowledge you lose the withdrawal right once the service is fully performed.
- Nothing in these Terms limits mandatory consumer-protection rights in your country (including the Quebec Consumer Protection Act and US auto-renewal/“click-to-cancel” rules).
Continuing education
See the CE disclosure on the continuing education page. Nursio is not accredited and does not award CE credits, CEUs or contact hours; it issues a certificate of completion only.
Acceptable use
Do not misuse the service, attempt to breach security, reverse-engineer it, or upload unlawful, infringing, or harmful content. Do not upload any patient or protected health information. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
Your content and contributors
Content authored by approved contributors may be reviewed and reused within the app. You retain your rights in anything you submit and grant Nursio a licence to host and process it to operate the service.
Disclaimers and liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Nursio is provided “as is” without warranties not expressly stated here, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions; those limits apply only as far as the law permits.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable there, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Disputes are subject to the courts of Ontario, Canada, except where mandatory local consumer law gives you other rights.
Changes
We may update these Terms; material changes will be notified in-app and the version/effective date updated.
